Brewers Players Announce Wives' Pregnancies After World Series Championship
David Hamilton and Dusty May's families share double baby joy following Milwaukee's historic victory.

The Milwaukee Brewers celebrated their first World Series title in franchise history not only with a championship but also with two heartwarming personal announcements. Following the team's clinching 4-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 5 of the 2026 World Series, both third baseman David Hamilton and pitcher Dustin May revealed that their wives are pregnant.
Both couples shared the news with celebratory posts featuring infant onesies. Mallory Hamilton, David's wife, posted a snapshot of the couple holding a baby onesie, captioned, “Daddy’s good luck charm 🍀 & cherry on top of this amazing season. What a year!!!! WORLD SERIES CHAMPS BABYYYYYY. Baby Hamilton 2027 #dadstrength.” David and Mallory were married in January after becoming engaged in early 2025. The Brewers drafted David in the eighth round of the 2019 MLB Draft before a trade to Boston, from which Milwaukee reacquired him in February.
Similarly, Amelia May, Dustin's wife, shared an Instagram post with an image of the couple holding a onesie, writing, “We’ll be telling Baby May about the 2026 World Series for forever 🥹🫶🏻.” Amelia and Dustin will celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary in December. This marks Dustin May's fourth World Series title, with previous wins in 2020, 2024, and 2025 with the Los Angeles Dodgers, but it is his first as an expectant father.
The Brewers' championship victory took place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. Catcher William Contreras was named the 2026 World Series MVP.
