Breeders' Cup Betting Available Via Dedicated Apps, Not Sportsbooks
FanDuel and BetMGM offer horse racing wagers through separate platforms in select states, while their sportsbook bonuses apply to other weekend events.
Wagering on the 2026 Breeders' Cup is accessible through dedicated racing applications from FanDuel and BetMGM, rather than their general sports betting platforms. Horse racing operates under a separate regulatory framework from sports betting, meaning the Breeders' Cup will not be listed on the main FanDuel Sportsbook or BetMGM Sportsbook interfaces in most locations.
FanDuel Racing, available in over 20 states, allows users to access their existing FanDuel Sportsbook wallet for betting on races. BetMGM Racebook, a distinct application, is currently operational in Florida, Louisiana, and Ohio.
The Breeders' Cup is scheduled for Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31, at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Kentucky. The event culminates with the $7 million Breeders' Cup Classic on Saturday. This marks the fourth time Keeneland has hosted the event, having previously done so in 2015, 2020, and 2022. Friday's races will focus on two-year-old horses, while Saturday will feature nine races leading up to the Classic.
FanDuel and BetMGM are also offering welcome bonuses for their sportsbooks that can be used on other major sporting events this weekend. These include the boxing match between Canelo Alvarez and Christian Mbilli, the Florida-Georgia football game, NBA matchups, and NFL games. These sportsbook offers cannot be applied to horse racing wagers.
New users can receive up to $150 in bonus bets from FanDuel by placing a $5 wager, or have their first bet up to $1,500 refunded with BetMGM's offer using the bonus code FOXNEWS, provided the initial wager loses.
