A new Bravo reality series filmed in the affluent Texas Hill Country town of Boerne has ignited a firestorm among locals, with concerns mounting over potential "dirty laundry" being aired and the town being misrepresented. The show, tentatively titled Secrets, Lies, Texas Wives, is set to follow a group of women navigating their lives, businesses, ranches, and relationships in the area.
Speculation about the cast has led to scrutiny of some rumored participants. Among them is Austin-based mom Gabby Huffman, who reportedly operated a now-deleted OnlyFans account featuring explicit content under the name Maya Angeles. Huffman, 30, acknowledged the existence of the account in a social media post, stating she decided to disclose it herself after being blackmailed with the content. She also stated she no longer operates the account.
Another rumored cast member, Aaryn Williams, a mother of four residing on a ranch in Boerne, has also drawn attention. Williams, 35, previously gained public notoriety in 2013 for making racist and homophobic remarks during her appearance on Big Brother. She has since built a significant following on Instagram, where she addressed some of the backlash, stating, "If I listened to what the townspeople are saying and doing, I would be miserable like they are."
Boerne, known for its German heritage, rustic estates, and quiet Main Street, has residents worried about the potential impact of the reality series on its tranquil atmosphere. An online petition opposing the show has garnered over 900 signatures, with organizers stating it risks "damaging the very fabric of communities it chooses to portray."
Boerne City Manager Ben Thatcher acknowledged the residents' concerns in May, emphasizing that the city is a real community of families, businesses, and individuals. Other rumored cast members include New Braunfels resident Annari Uys, Boerne influencer Allison McAnelly, and mom-of-two Hailey Head. San Antonio nurse Landry Hernandez is also believed to be part of the cast in a supporting role.
Bravo has not yet responded to requests for comment regarding the show or the reported cast members.
