Brandon Jacobs Sees a Giants Throwback in Running Back Cam Skattebo
Former Giants star Brandon Jacobs expressed admiration for running back Cam Skattebo's physical playing style, likening him to players from his era.
Giants legend Brandon Jacobs has identified running back Cam Skattebo as a player reminiscent of the team's throwback style, praising his aggressive approach on the field.
"He definitely doesn’t give a damn," Jacobs told The Post. "His attitude shows that. Just the way he carries himself. Big personality. You could tell he’s just a tough dude. Watching him against Dallas, I was happy to see him run through guys like that."
Jacobs, who holds the Giants' all-time record for rushing touchdowns with 60 from 2005-2013, became a fan favorite for his physical running style. He recalled a specific moment in the 2007 NFC Championship game where his impactful hit on Charles Woodson set a tone for the team.
"Cam is definitely the heart of the offense," Jacobs added. "I think it all gets going when Cam starts running crazy and running through people, and getting everybody pumped up."
