San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk has released a video on his YouTube channel detailing a contentious relationship with the team's management and expressing no intention of returning.
In the video, Aiyuk claimed his former agent has influenced his situation with the 49ers and alleged that general manager John Lynch recently visited his home unannounced. Aiyuk stated his relationship with Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan is beyond repair. "We is not cool. We won’t be cool," Aiyuk said in the video. "I will never be stepping in that building, except for on Oct. 19 when I come through with that motherf—— belt."
The date mentioned, October 19, refers to a "Monday Night Football" game when the 49ers are scheduled to host the Commanders. Aiyuk has previously expressed a desire to play for the Commanders alongside former Arizona State teammate Jayden Daniels.
Aiyuk further accused Lynch and his former agent of being "weird" and "creepy predators." He held up a football with the Commanders' logo, stating his commitment to reaching them if it means dealing with Lynch and his former agent first.
Addressing coach Kyle Shanahan, Aiyuk criticized his temperament, describing it as that of a "toddler." He recounted an incident where he felt Shanahan spoke inappropriately to him, questioning what he would do in response.
Aiyuk suggested his former agent also represents Lynch, implying a conflict of interest that has impacted his standing with the team.
