Brandin Podziemski Signs $110 Million Extension with Warriors
Guard Brandin Podziemski celebrated his new five-year, $110 million contract extension with the Golden State Warriors with a social media post.
Golden State has reached an agreement on a five-year, $110 million contract extension with guard Brandin Podziemski. The news broke on Saturday morning, and Podziemski quickly shared his reaction on social media.
Podziemski posted a graphic announcing the extension to his Instagram Story, accompanied by the caption, “gods timing ❤️”.
Since being selected 19th overall in the 2023 NBA Draft, Podziemski has established himself as an important member of the Warriors' roster. Last season, he averaged 13.8 points in 28.5 minutes per game, playing in all 82 regular-season contests. His field-goal percentage of 45.5 was a career high for a full season.
The Warriors also recently signed star guard Steph Curry to a two-year, $116 million contract extension. The team will rely on both Podziemski and Curry to contend in the Western Conference.
