Brandi Glanville to Undergo 'Face Off' Procedure for Under-Skin 'Power Wash'

Brandi Glanville is preparing for a significant surgical procedure this week, describing it as having her “face taken off” for an “exploratory surgery” and “power wash” under her skin. Glanville, known for her role in "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," revealed the upcoming operation on Thursday’s episode of her podcast, "Brandi Glanville Unfiltered."

According to Glanville, the surgeon, Dr. Carlo Henrado, identified two distinct spots beneath her skin that he suspects could be “fungal balls or something alive.” Glanville shared her personal belief that the entities are alive because “it moves when it wants.”

She explained that Dr. Henrado, who came highly recommended, agreed to perform the procedure with the understanding that insurance would cover a portion, and Glanville would pay an additional $5,000. "If I can cut the head off the beast, the snake, then the other stuff we’ll be able to get,” she quoted the doctor.

Glanville expressed a mix of excitement and significant apprehension, stating, “I’m super excited but also scared to death,” as she has never undergone facial surgery before. She noted that her procedure is described as more intensive than a typical facelift.

The reality star elaborated on the procedure, explaining that the doctor plans to use a "power washer, basically, and knives and all this s–t." She also mentioned that the surgeon would be spinning her blood to perform a platelet treatment on the inside of her face.

This upcoming surgery follows a period of escalating health concerns for Glanville. In September, she revealed she had been diagnosed with several conditions, including “highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley fever), Demodex dermatitis and mononucleosis.” At that time, she also disclosed the presence of a fungal ball in her face that she intended to have surgically removed.

Earlier in September, Glanville shared an ultrasound video on Instagram, claiming doctors had observed “something alive” and “moving” beneath the skin of her face. She had previously stated that if she couldn't find a doctor to remove the growth, she would attempt to do it herself.

Glanville's facial issues have been a subject of public discussion, with various potential causes suggested over time. In 2024, she initially blamed Bravo for her facial disfigurement. Later, doctors considered the possibility of a “parasite that jumps around [her] face,” while others suggested “stress-induced edema.” In February, she pointed to her 20-year-old breast implants, which she believed had ruptured and leaked silicone into her lymph nodes, as a cause for her health problems. Subsequently, she announced a diagnosis of a benign facial tumor in one of her lymph nodes.
