Brandi Glanville has revealed a series of complex medical diagnoses, including highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis, and mononucleosis. The former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star shared on social media that she is also facing the surgical removal of a "fungal ball" in her face, along with procedures to address old dental work and breast implants.
Glanville detailed that she is anticipating four to six months of daily intravenous (IV) treatment. The financial and mental toll of her ongoing health struggles has become a significant concern, with estimated monthly medical expenses ranging from $3,300 to $6,000. "I’m not able to work right now other than my podcast and I honestly don’t know how I’m going to do this mentally or financially," she admitted.
Previously, Glanville had spoken about receiving IV infusions for up to 18 hours a day, which have disrupted her sleep, eating habits, and ability to participate in daily activities. "I just want this s— out of my body," Glanville stated. "I want my health back. I want my life back. I want to feel like me again."
She addressed the visible effects of her illness, acknowledging that she does not look her best in shared videos and photos. "I know I don’t look good in these videos," she wrote. "Honestly, I don’t care. I feel terrible and this is what being sick looks like for me right now. So please be nice in the comments. I’m already fighting enough."
Glanville's health issues began to manifest after a trip to Morocco in 2023, when she initially suspected she had contracted a parasite. Her symptoms included facial paralysis, and she was initially diagnosed with stress-induced angioedema. However, her symptoms worsened, leading her to seek further answers. In February, it was discovered that her 20-year-old ruptured breast implants were contributing to her medical problems. Prior to this discovery, Glanville estimated she had spent over $70,000 attempting to diagnose the mystery condition that had disfigured her face and impacted her daily life.
