Reality television personality Brandi Glanville, 53, has disclosed the extent of her ongoing health struggles, revealing she undergoes daily 18-hour intravenous (IV) treatments. Glanville shared an update on Instagram detailing the intensive regimen, which she has been administering herself at home.

In a video posted on Sunday, Glanville explained that the treatments have severely impacted her appetite, contributing to significant weight loss. "I know I'm so skinny right now," she stated in the clip, noting that the therapies "decrease my food [sic]." She described her current state as feeling and looking "like death."

Glanville elaborated on her daily routine, which includes administering one IV infusion before a nurse arrives to administer another for four hours each evening. The imipenem infusion, a medication used to treat bacterial infections, is administered overnight. "It's a lot of setup," she commented on the process.

This update comes after Glanville recently addressed past personal drama. However, her primary focus in the recent post was her health battle, which she has been documenting intermittently. She indicated that the Instagram Reel was only "part one" of her story, promising further details about the treatments, exhaustion, and days that have gone unseen by the public.

"For the first time, I'm showing you what my life has really looked like behind closed doors. The treatments. The IVs. The exhaustion. The days nobody saw," she wrote in her caption. "I haven't been ready to talk about all of it publicly, and there's still a lot I'm not ready to share yet."

Her current health issues stem from a prolonged battle with facial disfigurement, which she has attributed to a facial parasite. Glanville revealed in June that she had discovered a benign tumor in a lymph node in her face, which she believed might be contributing to fluid buildup. She has previously stated that the parasite caused significant changes to her face and that she had spent over $113,000 seeking diagnosis and treatment. Glanville also speculated that ruptured breast implants and leaking silicone may have contributed to clogged lymph nodes.

The reality star mentioned dealing with the facial parasite for "a long three years" and expressed a desire to recover fully. She noted that despite thinking she was improving, her facial issues have recurred, causing parts of her face to "sink in again."
