Brandi Glanville Parts Ways With Podcast Co-Host James Maas in Fallout

Brandi Glanville and her podcast co-host, James Maas, have parted ways following a dispute over Maas' new solo venture, according to sources. Maas, who had co-hosted "Brandi Glanville Unfiltered" with the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum since August 2023, was recently offered his own podcast titled "The Daily Skinny."

A source told Page Six that Maas was enthusiastic about the new opportunity but had intended to continue co-hosting "Unfiltered" with Glanville. However, the reality star allegedly presented Maas with an ultimatum, requiring him to choose between the two shows. Maas ultimately opted for his new solo project, leading to his departure from "Unfiltered."

Following Maas' decision, Glanville reportedly began removing him from all aspects of "Unfiltered." The podcast is produced by Straw Hut Media, which is also behind Maas' new show, "The Daily Skinny."

Representatives for Glanville and Maas did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Maas' new podcast, announced earlier this month, is described by Straw Hut Media as a show offering a daily dose of entertainment news in concise installments.

Maas, an Australian native, and Glanville had collaborated on "Unfiltered" for over three years. Their podcast covered a range of topics, including reality TV drama, celebrity gossip, and personal life updates, with Maas serving as a frequent sounding board for Glanville's commentary on pop culture.

The show also provided Glanville a platform to discuss her life beyond "The Real Housewives," including her ongoing health issues and past financial struggles. Glanville has not yet announced a replacement for Maas as co-host.

Glanville first gained prominence on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," joining in its second season and becoming a main cast member for seasons three through five. She has since made guest appearances on the franchise and has participated in other reality programs such as "Celebrity Big Brother" (UK and US), "The Traitors," and "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test."
