Brandi Glanville's friend has launched a GoFundMe campaign aiming to raise $28,000 to assist the reality television personality with her ongoing medical treatments for a fungal parasite and other health issues.

Gina Rodriguez, a friend of Glanville, created the crowdfunding page with the stated purpose of helping the former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star on her "journey to get her health back," emphasizing support for treatment, surgeries, recovery, and hope. The page features images of Glanville's condition and calls for "real treatment" and "better days ahead."

Glanville, 53, recently disclosed that doctors found something "alive and moving" in her face. She has been diagnosed with highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis, and Mononucleosis. According to Glanville, an ultrasound revealed the presence of an unidentified moving organism in her face, a condition she has been dealing with for years.

Rodriguez stated that Glanville has been fighting these conditions for years and faces months of additional costly treatments and surgeries. "She hasn’t been able to work, and right now her focus needs to be on getting healthy, not the overwhelming financial burden," Rodriguez told the Daily Mail. As of Wednesday evening, the GoFundMe page had raised approximately $400.

The GoFundMe page details that Glanville's treatment costs are substantial, ranging from $3,300 to $6,000 monthly for treatment alone, even with insurance. This figure does not include expenses for upcoming surgeries, procedures, medications, doctor visits, dental work, or daily living costs while she is unable to work consistently. Glanville has indicated that she can only manage to continue with her podcast.

Glanville has expressed determination to have the "alien body" removed, stating she will attempt to remove it herself if a doctor cannot perform the surgery. She also noted the need to remove metals from old dental work, have breast implants removed, and undergo 4-6 months of daily IV treatment. Glanville has described her treatment as difficult, with little improvement so far, and several surgeries still ahead.

Recently, Glanville shared that she has been undergoing daily 18-hour IV drips at home, administered by a nurse who visits daily. She described feeling exhausted and unwell, stating, "I feel like death. I look like death." She is receiving Imipenem, an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections, administered via a pump overnight, and another IV treatment for approximately four hours daily. In total, she receives continuous intravenous treatment for about 18 hours each day.

Glanville has been dealing with her facial condition for over three years, reportedly spending over six figures on various treatments. She has received multiple diagnoses, with some medical professionals previously dismissing her symptoms as scar tissue. Glanville has spoken about experiencing dismissal within the medical field regarding her health concerns.

Despite her health challenges, Glanville is scheduled to appear in the fifth season of "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test," which is set to premiere on September 24 on Fox. She will be joined by other celebrities on the series.
