Brandi Glanville, known for her role on 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,' has publicly shared an update on her extensive battle with facial infections and parasites, reporting that doctors discovered something "alive and moving" in her face during an ultrasound examination.

Glanville, 53, stated on Instagram that she has been diagnosed with several conditions, including highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis, and Mononucleosis. She explained that an MRI revealed issues on the left side of her face, and a subsequent ultrasound led to the discovery of the "alive and moving" entity.

"We did the ultrasound in the doctor's office and the technician said that there was something alive in my face and that it was moving and she'd never seen anything like it," Glanville stated.

In addition to this finding, she reported having a "fungal ball" in her face that requires removal. Glanville also outlined a broader treatment plan that includes removing metals from old dental work, explanting breast implants, and undergoing approximately four to six months of daily intravenous (IV) treatment. She expressed a strong desire to have the "alien body" removed from her face and to regain her health.

Glanville has been documenting her intensive treatment regimen, which involves up to 18 hours of IV drips per day, often administered at home. She shared that she has learned to manage some of the treatments herself, with a nurse visiting daily to assist with the prolonged IV sessions. The medication she is currently receiving, imipenem, is used in combination with cilastatin to treat bacterial infections, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Glanville has been dealing with her facial condition for over three years, incurring significant medical expenses. She noted that she has faced skepticism from some medical professionals who previously attributed her symptoms to scar tissue. Despite these ongoing health challenges, Glanville is slated to appear on the fifth season of 'Special Forces: World's Toughest Test,' which is set to premiere on September 24 on Fox.
