Brandi Glanville has publicly stated that she finds her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and his wife, LeAnn Rimes, both to be "annoying," more than 15 years after their affair led to Glanville and Cibrian's divorce.
Glanville, who rose to fame on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," made the remarks on her podcast, "Brandi Glanville Unfiltered." The discussion arose as Glanville commented on news about the upcoming child of Kyle Richards' daughter, Farrah Brittany. Glanville noted that Brittany's partner's ex-wife had offered her support to Brittany, which led Glanville to discuss relationships with an ex's new partner.
She admitted that she finds she prefers spending time with Rimes over Cibrian. "I like LeAnn more than I like Eddie," Glanville stated on the podcast. "Eddie just annoys the fk out of me and all I remember is all the st he did to me."
While Glanville suggested she and Rimes "like each other more" than they like Cibrian, she also added that Rimes "annoys me too, don't get me wrong." She elaborated that despite Rimes's annoyance, she feels a genuine connection with her that she lacks with Cibrian.
Glanville and Cibrian, who share two sons, Mason, 23, and Jake, 19, were married from 2001 to 2010. Cibrian and Rimes married in 2011. Glanville has previously spoken about the difficulty of seeing Rimes involved in her sons' lives, describing past instances where Rimes would text her about activities with the children, which Glanville interpreted as taunting.
In a 2013 interview with Glamour, Glanville recalled the heartbreak of seeing Rimes tweet photos with her children while she was alone during holidays. She also accused Rimes of sending "hurtful" messages, feeling as though Rimes was asserting dominance over her family.
Glanville has also recounted discovering the affair through a video of Rimes and Cibrian kissing, which she called devastating. She stated that Cibrian initially denied the affair, despite the visual evidence. Glanville also revealed that she had harbored suspicions of infidelity earlier in their marriage, noting chemistry she observed between Cibrian and co-stars on set, though he would dismiss her concerns as jealousy. Glanville and Cibrian were together for 13 years before their divorce. She stated that she and Cibrian had promised never to divorce and to love each other into old age. In the past, Glanville has admitted to slashing Cibrian's tires after learning of the affair.
