Pitt's relationships with his children—Maddox, 25, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 20, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 18—have been strained since his split from Jolie. The divorce, which began in 2016, stemmed from an alleged altercation aboard a private jet. The incident led to Pitt entering Alcoholics Anonymous and reportedly obliterated his relationship with his children.

"He hopes to be able to rebuild and there is an understanding that there is a time and a place," a source commented. Pitt is reportedly focused on finding the right moment and method to re-establish contact with his offspring.
