Brad Pitt Channels 'Once Upon a Time' Character at Film Festival

Brad Pitt, 62, drew inspiration from his character Cliff Booth in "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" as he appeared at the San Sebastian Film Festival on Wednesday. The actor sported a double denim ensemble, sunglasses, and tan suede shoes for the photocall of his latest film, "Heart Of The Beast."

Pitt appeared in good spirits, waving to fans before participating in a Q&A session about his new movie. In "Heart Of The Beast," Pitt plays James Belmont, a retired Special Forces officer who, along with his retired combat dog Odin, must fight for survival in the Alaskan wilderness after their plane crashes.

The actor's choice of attire echoed his portrayal of Cliff Booth, a stuntman for Leonardo DiCaprio's character Rick Dalton in the 2019 film "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood." Director Quentin Tarantino further developed the Cliff Booth character through a novelization of the film.

Pitt clarified that the upcoming project, "The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth," is not a direct sequel but rather an "episode" focusing on the character. The project is scheduled to be released in IMAX theaters globally on November 25.

Pitt's appearance comes as sources close to the actor have spoken about his personal life, with one stating that his past marriage to Angelina Jolie sent his life "spiraling." The source added that Pitt has been working on himself and is now in a "really good place."

Pitt and Jolie divorced in September 2016. Jolie recently stated in an interview that she is ready to embrace a more nomadic lifestyle now that her youngest children have turned 18.
