Brittany Clark's boyfriend, Chance Allison, has shared details of her final moments after a fatal alligator attack in Florida's Econlockhatchee River. Clark, 31, died Sunday after being attacked by a 13-foot alligator while she, Allison, and roommate Jayden Hernandez were in the Little Big Econ State Forest.

Allison stated that the attack occurred suddenly while they were sitting in about three feet of water. "We were smiling and talking and then it was complete chaos," Allison told The Post. He recalled that as they waited for emergency services, Clark's last words to him were to ensure her dog, Hokie, was taken care of.

He is speaking out to clarify details of the incident, which he described as heartbreaking due to what he perceives as inaccurate reporting. Allison denied claims made by an anonymous hiker who suggested that Clark's group had been warned not to enter the water. He stated that the only conversation he recalled with another person on the way in was about bringing dogs to the area, and if a warning was given, it was not clearly heard.

Allison also clarified his actions after the attack. He explained that he did not perform CPR but focused on trying to make Clark comfortable and stop the bleeding by applying pressure to her wounds with his hands and a towel. He also specified that their dogs were not in the water but on the bank, attempting to fend off the alligator while he and Hernandez pulled Clark ashore.

Bodycam footage released by the Seminole County Sheriff's Office shows a deputy arriving at the riverbank. Allison mentioned using a tent to shield Clark from the sun while they waited for help. He is currently working with Clark's family to make funeral arrangements and plan a celebration of her life. Allison described Clark as an outgoing person who loved the outdoors and spent most weekends engaged in water activities.
