Jon Bon Jovi returned to the stage at Madison Square Garden on Sunday night, performing the final show of his nine-night "Forever Tour" residency just days after a sinus infection forced him to end a previous concert early.

During the Sunday performance, Bon Jovi brought out a special guest, Bruce Springsteen, for a surprise duet. The two New Jersey natives performed “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” together before launching into Springsteen’s 1978 hit “The Promised Land.”

The "Forever Tour" residency at Madison Square Garden, which began on July 7, was originally planned as a four-show engagement but was extended to nine nights due to high demand.

Last week, Bon Jovi, 64, had to cut his eighth show at the venue short after experiencing symptoms of a sinus infection. A representative for the singer stated that Bon Jovi informed the audience he was battling the infection, which led to the show's premature end after approximately 90 minutes. He apologized to fans, promising to "figure something out" regarding the shortened performance.

The tour marks Bon Jovi's first return to live performances following vocal cord surgery in October 2022. The singer has previously shared that years of touring had caused his vocal cords to atrophy, with one being "thick as a thumb" and the other "thick as a pinky." He described the situation as his "craft being taken" from him.

Following the conclusion of his MSG residency, "The Forever Tour" is scheduled to continue with a European leg, beginning in Edinburgh on August 28.
