Police confirm a body was discovered during the extensive search for Noah Woods, who had been missing since Wednesday.
Police have confirmed that a body was found during the search for 3-year-old Noah Woods, who went missing from a playground in Suffolk. While formal identification has yet to be completed, Noah's family has been informed.
Superintendent Pearse stated, "Our thoughts are with Noah's family and all those who knew him." He also acknowledged the significant public support, noting, "We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of public support and people putting on their boots to help."
At least 1,300 members of the public assisted in the search for the missing boy, who was described as non-verbal and partially deaf. Volunteers traveled from as far as Birmingham and Hampshire to join the effort. The searches had expanded to include areas such as East Bergholt and Manningtree, crossing into Essex. Divers from the Metropolitan Police were also deployed to search Decoy Pond, a fishing lake approximately 350 yards from the playground where Noah was last seen.
