Boston homicide detectives are investigating a death after a body was discovered Saturday at a home owned by the husband of U.S. Representative Ayanna Pressley. Police were called to the residence in the Mattapan neighborhood around 2 p.m. after an "investigate person call," according to Boston Police spokesperson Officer James Moccia.
Upon arrival, officers found a deceased individual at the property. Sergeant Detective John Boyle confirmed the situation is being treated as a "death investigation."
The seven-bedroom home on Malta Street is registered to Pressley's husband, Conan Harris. City records indicate the property has a valuation exceeding $919,000. The home was reportedly listed for sale approximately one month prior to the discovery, though it is unclear if anyone was residing there at the time.
