Bobby Cole Norris, formerly of 'The Only Way Is Essex' (TOWIE), has returned to the hospital for diagnostic testing following multiple facial surgeries.
Norris, 39, shared an update on Instagram from the medical facility on Friday, revealing he was undergoing an MRI scan. He humorously described the experience, telling followers, "So, just at the hospital. I've just been spit roasted like a pig in a blanket in that toilet roll thing." He added, "My God. Hotter than hell. Look at the state of me. My hair looks like a bunch of pubes. We move."
An MRI scan utilizes powerful magnets to create detailed internal images of the body, aiding doctors in diagnosing injuries, illnesses, or other health issues without the need for further surgery.
In March, Norris underwent a facelift, neck lift, and lower blepharoplasty. He recently disclosed that he had spent over £50,000 on cosmetic fillers before opting for the surgical procedures. Speaking on The Vanessa Feltz Show, Norris admitted to a decade of "abusing fillers," leading to his decision to have surgery.
He explained that his openness about his treatments is a reflection of his long tenure in reality television and social media. "I think for people who follow and watch on social media and TV and stuff, I think it's important to be honest," he stated, noting that he has documented the entire process. Norris also clarified that cosmetic surgery is not as instantaneous as some might believe, contrasting it with the quick transformations seen on shows like 'Stars in Your Eyes.'
When asked about the extent of his cosmetic work, Norris detailed changes to his nose, teeth, hairline, beard, face, cheeks, and neck, with the exception of his eyes. He shared this information despite being only 39 years old.
Norris also touched on the perceived age expectations associated with certain procedures. "I think there's still this mindset, and it's kind of a tradition when people have facelifts. It was within a certain age, and I think people say probably you did look old," he commented. He added that while he did not aim to look significantly younger, his extensive use of fillers over the years had altered his appearance, stretching his cheeks and lips. "Now, if you're quite subtle with them, you can have them removed," he noted.
Reflecting on the financial cost, Norris confirmed that the amount spent on fillers over the years was likely "more than 50 grand."
