Michael Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York City and a notable billionaire, was observed enjoying a hot dog at the Hampton Classic horse show in Bridgehampton. Bloomberg, attending to watch his daughter Georgina compete, opted for the casual meal over more elaborate offerings. He reportedly stated, "I'm a NOO YAWKAH!" to explain his choice.
Also present in the VIP area at the event were Wilbur Ross, Peter Cook, and Candace Bushnell, seated at Abe Wellington’s table. The event featured food provided by Robbins Wolfe.
Meanwhile, at the US Open, attention was also drawn to the personal lives of athletes. Tennis player Taylor Fritz's rumored romantic involvement with influencer Olivia Jade Giannulli was a topic of observation. The pair had reportedly been seen together in the city the previous week. Giannulli, however, was reportedly absent from Fritz's matches and Fan Week appearances.
Adding to the dynamics, Fritz's ex-girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, who also has a background as an influencer and documentarian of her life as a tennis WAG, was seen in attendance. Riddle was observed cheering for Naomi Osaka during her match.
