Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman has released a new advertisement that utilizes artificial intelligence to create a digital likeness of Gov. Kathy Hochul, which Blakeman asserts provides a truthful representation of her policies.

The 60-second spot, shared on X, depicts an AI-generated Hochul discussing various aspects of her gubernatorial tenure, including taxes, crime, and immigration. In the ad, the AI-Hochul character remarks on issues such as luxury accommodations for migrants, tax increases, and changes to the cash bail system.

The advertisement also touches on statewide energy prices and the state's approach to traffic congestion, with the AI-Hochul character appearing in various New York settings. The ad concludes with a message encouraging voters to maintain current policies, stating, "This November, don’t let Bruce Blakeman lower your taxes or make New York safe. Keep it unsafe and unaffordable with Kathy Hochul as your governor."

The ad's release follows Hochul's recent appearances in Nassau and Suffolk counties, where she criticized Republican policies. Recent polling indicates a narrowing lead for Hochul in the upcoming election, with 12% of likely general election voters remaining undecided, according to a survey by co/efficient for the Coalition to Protect Nassau Taxpayers.

Election Day is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3.
