Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were seen together in New York City on Friday, marking their first public appearance since a judge ruled on Blake Lively's legal fees stemming from her dispute with Justin Baldoni. The couple was accompanied by Lively's older half-sister, Robyn Lively.

Lively, 39, wore a brown ensemble featuring overalls, boots, and a chunky gold necklace for the outing. Robyn Lively, 54, wore double denim and was seen chatting with Reynolds, 49. While Lively occasionally smiled, Reynolds maintained a more stoic expression.

The appearance followed a Wednesday ruling by a New York judge who determined Lively would be awarded only five percent of the legal fees she sought. The judge cited "unreasonable" hours billed by Lively's lawyers and "discrepancies" in claimed expenses.

Lively is to receive $363,245.40 in attorneys' fees and $44,206.35 in costs. This ruling came after the same judge dismissed most of the claims in Lively's sexual harassment case against her "It Ends With Us" co-star Baldoni. The pair had agreed to settle that case with no money exchanged.

Lively initially sued Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, in December 2024 for alleged sexual harassment and defamation on the set of their film. Baldoni subsequently filed a $400 million defamation lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds, and The New York Times in January 2025. In October 2025, a judge dismissed Baldoni's case. In May of this year, after most of Lively's claims were dismissed, she agreed to settle her lawsuit.

Following the settlement, Lively sought to recoup her legal expenses. Court filings revealed she was demanding approximately $4.5 million from one law firm and $2.9 million from another, bringing the total to around $8.3 million with additional costs from a recent hearing. The final award is significantly less than the amount sought.

Lively and Reynolds met in 2010 on the set of "Green Lantern" and began dating in 2011. They married in September 2012 and have four children together.
