Blake Griffin and Francesca Aiello Are Married
The retired NBA star and the swimwear designer have tied the knot, confirming reports after Griffin was seen wearing a wedding band.
Retired NBA forward Blake Griffin and swimwear designer Francesca Aiello are married, a representative for Griffin confirmed to People.
The couple, who reportedly became engaged in late 2024, have not yet disclosed details about their wedding ceremony. Griffin recently drew attention when he was photographed wearing his gold wedding band while promoting Season 2 of NBA on Prime and his new talk show, "The Stepback."
Griffin, a six-time NBA All-Star, displayed his wedding ring while posing with Aiello, the founder of the lifestyle brand Frankies Bikinis, on the red carpet at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Los Angeles on Sunday, October 18, 2026. He had previously worn the ring at an exclusive screening of "The Stepback with Blake Griffin" on Wednesday, October 14, and at the NBA on Prime Season 2 Launch Event "The Art of Basketball" on Tuesday, October 13.
The pair had not publicly announced their engagement prior to the wedding confirmation. Reports suggested Griffin proposed to Aiello around the holidays in 2024, and Aiello sparked buzz by showcasing a large engagement ring in social media posts in early 2025.
Griffin and Aiello began dating in June 2018, experienced a brief separation, and reconnected in August 2023. Griffin is a father to two children, Ford and Finley, from a previous relationship.
Griffin played eight seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers after being selected as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. He also played for the Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets, and Boston Celtics during his NBA career. His new talk show, "The Stepback with Blake Griffin," is set to premiere on Tuesday, October 20, with Amazon Studios, YouTube, and Wondery.
