Biscuitville, a fast-food chain with locations primarily in North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina, has been named America's best fast-food breakfast for the fourth consecutive year. The chain secured the top position in USA Today's 10 Best Readers' Choice Awards, outperforming national giants such as McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, Burger King, and Wendy's.

With 90 locations, Biscuitville is a family-owned business known for its made-from-scratch biscuits. The company emphasizes its commitment to fresh ingredients, with biscuits prepared every 15 minutes using a three-ingredient family recipe passed down through generations. Biscuitville operates without microwaves or instant cooking tools in its kitchens, focusing instead on hand-cracked eggs and other fresh components for its breakfast sandwiches and platters.

Kristie Mitchell, Biscuitville’s chief marketing officer, highlighted the positive customer feedback, noting that many people compare the biscuits to those made by their grandmothers. She stated that staples like biscuits, grits, and eggs continue to resonate with customers.

In addition to its signature biscuits, Biscuitville offers a variety of breakfast items, including breakfast sandwiches with sausage or bacon and egg and cheese, smoked sausage with peppers and onions, spicy and fried chicken options, country ham, and breakfast platters. The chain was also recognized on a list of "Regional Restaurant Chains that Should Go National."

Biscuitville's origins trace back to 1966, initially as a bakery and then a pizzeria. The focus shifted to biscuits to capitalize on the breakfast market, becoming the company's sole focus by the 1970s. Its stores typically operate from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The chain has been a consistent presence on USA Today's 10 Best Regional Fast Food list since 2019, in addition to its multiple wins for best fast-food breakfast. The selection process involved public voting over four weeks, with Biscuitville chosen from a list of 20 nominees in the fast-food breakfast category.

Online discussions, including on Reddit, reflect strong customer loyalty, with some users noting long lines and high demand for Biscuitville's offerings. However, some customers have also expressed critiques regarding the dryness of the biscuits and the blandness of the eggs.
