Binky Felstead, 36, has made a swift return from the United States to visit her mother, Jane, after she was hospitalized following a fall.
Jane, 74, was admitted to the hospital after the incident left her with bruises and a visible scar on her forehead. Felstead shared a picture of her mother from her hospital bed, noting it was a "flying visit" to see her.
"Flying visit for GaGa to show me her new Harry Potter scar :(" Felstead wrote on social media, adding that she also intended to retrieve a prize possession for her child, Wolfie, from her mother's home. Jane, who has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) since 2017, appeared to be in good spirits despite her injuries, joking with her daughter about her condition and a desire for champagne.
"I'd like to say to my family, here I am, I've pulled through again," Jane said in a video shared by Felstead. "There's nothing wrong with me. There's plenty wrong with me, but I'll fight another day."
Jane also recounted being transported by ambulance with sirens, a journey she described as "very, very pressing" due to the concern for her well-being.
Fans sent messages of support to Jane, wishing her a speedy recovery. Jane's diagnosis of MS in 2017 came after years of believing she had fibromyalgia, a condition she experienced after a misdiagnosis.
MS has presented Jane with challenges including chronic joint pain and fatigue, as well as potential sight disturbances and cognitive difficulties. However, in December, Jane shared a positive update, revealing that her energy and mobility were showing signs of returning after starting a new treatment for autoimmune diseases. She described feeling significantly better, with her energy and mobility improving, allowing her to perform previously difficult movements and regain confidence.
