Reality television personality Binky Felstead has relocated her family to a new mansion in Connecticut, United States, following her husband Max Fredrik Darnton's decision to move to New York City full-time for his business endeavors.
Felstead, known for her role in the British series "Made In Chelsea," shared glimpses of her new life and the expansive Connecticut home on Instagram. The family has moved from their London residence, a property Felstead purchased and renovated in 2019. Her husband, Max Fredrik Darnton, an entrepreneur and executive search consultant, announced his full-time relocation to New York in a LinkedIn post in June. He stated that New York has been like a second home and expressed excitement for this new chapter for himself, his family, and his business, Fredriks.
Previously, Darnton divided his time between Fredriks' Manhattan office and London. Felstead had been managing their two young sons, Wolfie and Wilder, along with her older daughter India, while Darnton traveled. The family, including their dog Pedro, has now joined Darnton in the U.S., at least for the summer.
Felstead documented the busy transition, including arriving to find her new home prepared by her husband and children eager to explore the large backyard. According to reports from Reddit users, the couple's new rental home in Connecticut is priced at $35,000 per month and features a turreted design, situated on a lake and surrounded by mature trees.
Felstead also shared a visit to her husband's office at Rockefeller Center in Manhattan, indicating a period of adjustment and integration into their new environment. Prior to their departure from London, Felstead hosted a U.S.-themed party, signaling the extended duration of their stay.
The relocation may impact Felstead's "Beyond Chelsea" spin-off reality show, which debuted in 2024 and has aired two series. The future of this program remains uncertain with the family's move to the United States.
