Binky Felstead and Ex Joshua Patterson Praised for Co-Parenting During US Visit
Reality TV star and her former partner showcase a positive dynamic while visiting their daughter in Connecticut.

Former Made in Chelsea star Binky Felstead and her ex-partner Joshua Patterson have garnered praise from fans for their co-parenting efforts during Patterson's visit to the United States. Felstead, who relocated to Connecticut with her husband Max Fredrik Darnton and their sons, shared images on Instagram of their family activities.
Patterson flew to America to spend time with his daughter India, nine, whom he shares custody of with Felstead. The social media posts depicted Patterson interacting not only with India but also with Felstead's younger sons, Wolfie, five, and Wilder, three. Fans reacted positively to the displays of a friendly and collaborative co-parenting relationship.
Comments from followers highlighted the "positive" family dynamic and called it "co-parenting goals." One user expressed, "Setting such a great example for co-parenting. I wish I had this when my parents got divorced." Another noted, "All involved should be very proud that they are able to do this for their children."
Felstead and Patterson ended their relationship approximately 15 months after India's birth in 2018. Felstead has since moved from her London home to join her husband, Max Fredrik Darnton, in the United States. Darnton recently relocated full-time to his New York office to expand his business connections and will commute from their family home in New England.
Darnton announced his full-time move to New York in a LinkedIn post in June, stating, "New York has felt like a second home for years. Exciting new chapter — for me, my family, and the business." Felstead documented her family's move to their new US residence, a turreted house on a lake in Connecticut, which fans noted on Reddit is reportedly a $35,000 per month rental.
Before the move, Felstead hosted a US-themed going-away party at her former £3.6 million London home. She and her children followed Darnton to the States, with Felstead sharing snippets of their new life and the setup of their new home, including the arrival of their dog, Pedro.
Felstead's relocation to the US may also impact her reality show, "Binky Felstead: Beyond Chelsea," which premiered in 2024 and has aired two series. The show follows the lives of Felstead, Lucy Watson, and Rosie Fortescue.
