Binky Felstead has shared her struggles with anxiety and homesickness following her family's move to Connecticut for her husband Max Darnton's career. The 36-year-old former 'Made In Chelsea' star described the relocation from west London as a significant change, admitting that while she is enjoying the new chapter, some days feel unfamiliar.

Felstead revealed her feelings on Instagram, posting a clip of her son playing in autumn leaves and writing, "Lately, I've been feeling a quiet mix of excitement and anxiety. Moving somewhere new is a huge change and I'm really enjoying this new chapter, but some days everything feels a little unfamiliar and I find myself missing family and friends back home. Little by little, we're getting to know this new corner of the world. I'm reminding myself that feeling at home takes time, and simple moments like this are helping to quieten my overthinking brain."

Felstead has also credited a new friend for helping her feel welcome in Connecticut. She shared a selfie with the friend, noting, "Made me feel so welcome, shown me around (and got me back into tennis). New friendships are just as special at this stage of life. So much fun still to come with this one!"

The television personality announced last week that she and her family have permanently moved to the U.S. The family includes her two sons, Wolfie, five, and Wilder, three, as well as her daughter India, nine, from a previous relationship. Felstead shared glimpses of their new home, including a redecorated living room with new furniture and artwork shipped from London. One piece of artwork is named after her late father, Roger.

Initially, Felstead announced the move in an Instagram post showcasing her family by the coast, stating, "A new adventure as a family in America. After an incredible summer of exploring the East coast, we are very happy to now call this place home." She added that there would be frequent trips back to the UK for family, friends, and work commitments. Felstead also highlighted that the move was partly motivated by the need to find a school that could provide specialized support for India's dyslexia, noting a positive difference within weeks of enrollment.

"Seeing her understand things in a way that works for her, and watching that confidence start to grow, has made the whole move feel so worthwhile," Felstead wrote. She also observed a "buzz of positivity, motivation, ambition and drive" in the U.S., appreciating the celebration of hard work and success, which she believes will be beneficial for her children's exposure.

Felstead confirmed the family has also reunited with their dog, Pedro, who was flown over from London. The relocation may impact the future of her 'Made In Chelsea' spin-off show, 'Beyond Chelsea,' which debuted in 2024 and has aired two series.
