Bills' Bradley Chubb Restrained by Teammates After Postgame Altercation With Rams Player
Chubb alleges a Rams player attempted to punch him following the Bills' overtime victory.
Buffalo Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb stated that he had to be restrained by his teammates after a player from the Los Angeles Rams attempted to punch him following the Bills' 37-34 overtime victory on Monday night at SoFi Stadium.
"It was a close game," Chubb told The California Post in an exclusive interview. "And, you know, they always catch the second guy, so I let him swing and my teammates held me back and I just chilled."
Chubb declined to identify the Rams player involved in the altercation, stating, "That’s not on me to tell who. There’s cameras out there. I just know I’m ready for next week."
Video footage captured by ESPN cameras appeared to show Rams offensive lineman Alaric Jackson making contact with Chubb amidst the dispute. Further footage showed Chubb moving toward the player before injured Rams pass rusher Myles Garrett intervened, restraining Chubb. Several of Chubb's Bills teammates also pulled him away from the situation.
Despite the intervention, Chubb continued to approach the Rams player, reportedly exchanging words with LA tight end Colby Parkinson before disengaging. Chubb confirmed he was uninjured, adding, "You see I’m smiling. I’m with my team. I’m turnt. We’re ready for next week."
