Actress Billie Piper cut an elegant figure in a distinctive outfit at the Variety London Film Festival Dinner on Wednesday evening. The event, held at London's Soho Mews House, brought together notable figures from the film industry.

Pipier, 44, chose a furry strapless dress paired with a voluminous black hat for the occasion. She was seen mingling with fellow actress Gemma Chan, 43. Piper's attire was complemented by pointed black heels, a black clutch, diamond drop earrings, and purple eyeliner.

Chan opted for a champagne-colored halterneck dress with tassel detailing, accessorized with matching heels. The two actresses appeared in good spirits, posing for photographs before the dinner.

Other attendees at the event included actors Taron Egerton, Mia McKenna-Bruce, George Mackay, Sophie Okonedo, Sandra Hüller, Jack O'Connell, and Rosalind Eleazar. Directors Danny Boyle and Joe Naftalin were also present.

Pipier's appearance followed her notable style choice at the opening night of the British Film Institute London Film Festival. She previously wore a black and white Emilia Wickstead gown with leather gloves and dramatic grey eye makeup for the screening of the film "Elsinore." At that event, she was seen interacting with her "Elsinore" co-stars Andrew Scott and Olivia Colman.

The British Film Festival commenced on October 7 and is scheduled to run until October 18, with screenings taking place across various London cinemas.

Earlier in the summer, Piper took a trip to Spain with actress Lily James. The pair, who became friends after James appeared in Piper's 2019 directorial debut "Rare Beasts," shared moments from their getaway, including a yacht ride and a sunset walk, documented on James's Instagram.
