Bill Belichick's ex-girlfriend Jordon Hudson absent from UNC game following split news
Hudson, previously a regular on the sidelines, was not present at a Saturday game hours after reports of her secret breakup with the football coach surfaced.
Jordon Hudson, the former girlfriend of NFL coach Bill Belichick, was notably absent from her usual spot on the University of North Carolina's sidelines during a game on Saturday, hours after news of their secret split was reported. The pair reportedly ended their relationship late last year but kept the breakup private.
Hudson, 25, had been a consistent presence at UNC home games this season, as well as several road games, but she was not seen at the team's matchup against Miami. Belichick, meanwhile, was present, dressed in his customary UNC hoodie, coaching the team.
Reports from TMZ on Friday indicated that Belichick and Hudson, who have a 49-year age difference, had ended their relationship prior to 2026. This news came as a surprise to some UNC staff members, who told USA Today that they were unaware of the split.
Despite the reported breakup, the couple had maintained public appearances, including a joint appearance at the Kentucky Derby in May. Recent weeks also saw Hudson in attendance at games against Syracuse, Notre Dame, and East Tennessee State, and she was present for a road win at Duke, where she and Belichick were seen smiling together after the game.
Sources suggest that despite the romantic split, Hudson and Belichick remain "close friends" and are "committed to their business partnerships." Hudson is listed as a director for multiple companies, and reports indicate she has dated other men this year. Resurfaced photos also show the pair holding hands and linking arms at various events throughout 2026.
During their relationship, Hudson reportedly amassed a significant property portfolio, acquiring at least four properties after meeting Belichick, with mortgages paid off on each. Records also show she has registered numerous companies, some of which appear to indicate involvement in Belichick's affairs. She was described as acting as Belichick's de facto manager, a role that drew public attention during a CBS Sunday Morning interview in April 2025, where she was heard interrupting the interview. Belichick has previously dismissed claims that Hudson was attempting to control the UNC football program, calling such reports "ridiculous."
