Bill Ackman Calls Democratic Party 'Radicalized' and 'Anti-American'

Investor Bill Ackman has described the Democratic Party as "crazy, radicalized and anti-American," asserting that it is in the "worst place it's ever been" in the nation's history. Ackman shared these views in an interview on the "Katie Miller Podcast," expressing concern over the party's direction despite acknowledging the presence of quality individuals within it.

Ackman specifically mentioned Senator Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., suggesting the senator has compromised his values to maintain his political position. "I think the problem with people who've chosen to be a politician for a career, you either have to get with the party in order to continue, or you get primaries," Ackman said. "You know, actually, Senator Schumer, I had a good relationship with him over the years. I thought he was a good man. But in recent years, I felt he's just trying to keep his job."

Ackman's remarks also appeared to reference Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, who has faced scrutiny regarding his family's alleged ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. A report detailed social media posts from El-Sayed's half-sister, Eman Abdelhadi, referencing her mother's college activism with the organization in Egypt. El-Sayed has denied any familial connections to the group, stating during a recent interview on NBC's "Meet the Press," "I have no ties; we have no ties." He also responded affirmatively when asked at a town hall if he would disavow the Muslim Brotherhood.

Ackman also commented on New York City Mayor Eric Adams, whom he criticized for his policies, while not ruling out a future mayoral run himself, suggesting he could be more effective by supporting a capable candidate for the position. "I'm not a fan," Ackman said of Adams. "He's very smart, very charismatic, very good at politics, but I think the decisions he's making are very bad for New York."
