Bijou Phillips has been publicly seen for the first time since undergoing a life-saving kidney transplant. The actress was spotted with her boyfriend, Jamie Mazur, in Malibu, California, on Sunday, approximately two weeks after the procedure.

Phillips, 46, wore a blue tank top, denim shorts, and a large sun hat while having a bottled beverage outdoors with Mazur. The couple has reportedly been dating since 2024.

On July 7, Phillips announced she had received a kidney transplant at UCLA amid her battle with kidney disease. She expressed gratitude towards her surgeon, Dr. Jeffrey Veale, noting the minimal post-operative pain. She also shared her appreciation for those who offered to donate, calling them heroes.

This was Phillips' second kidney transplant. Her first transplant, from a friend in 2017, had reportedly failed, necessitating another. In February, representatives confirmed she was hospitalized at CORE Kidney at UCLA Health, undergoing dialysis while awaiting a donor, emphasizing that "time was of the essence."

Phillips had previously appealed to her social media followers for a donor, sharing that she was born with underdeveloped kidneys. She stated that her first transplant had provided her with eight years, allowing her to be a mother to her daughter, Fianna, but she had since experienced numerous complications. She has a 12-year-old daughter, Fianna, with her ex-husband Danny Masterson, who was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison in 2023 for two counts of rape. Phillips filed for divorce from Masterson in September 2023 after nearly 12 years of marriage.
