Big Brother Reveals Vibrant New Brisbane House Ahead of Premiere

Big Brother is set to premiere its new season from a redesigned house in Brisbane, featuring a bold and colorful aesthetic intended to amplify the reality competition's drama and intrigue.

The purpose-built property, located at Screen Queensland Studios in Hemmant, boasts a vibrant interior designed to accommodate 14 contestants. The house features a striking turquoise kitchen, a bright pink dining area, a sprawling blue lounge, and neon-lit living spaces. Each housemate will have a private bed and wardrobe, while communal areas are designed to foster gossip and tense group dynamics.

Despite the colorful decor, privacy may be limited, with shared bathrooms featuring glass-fronted showers. The house is also equipped with a gym, a sauna, and a fish tank, offering contestants additional amenities during their stay.

The central Diary Room has been updated with a new chair, serving as the confessional space for contestants to share their thoughts and grievances directly with the viewers. With cameras strategically placed throughout the property, producers aim to capture all housemate activities.

This move to Brisbane signifies a new chapter for the long-running series, relocating production from the Gold Coast. Veteran presenter Mel Tracina returns as host, with Mike Goldman providing his signature commentary. The show will feature live nominations and evictions, increasing the pressure on contestants as they compete to remain in the game.

Big Brother premieres Monday at 7:30 p.m. on Channel Ten.
