Big Brother Erupts in Major House Clash
Pauline removed from bedroom and restrained after a volatile argument involving housemates Rochelle and Catrin.
The latest installment of Big Brother witnessed its most significant confrontation of the season on Tuesday night, culminating in housemate Pauline being removed from the bedroom and restrained.
The intense episode featured a screaming match between Pauline and Rochelle, escalating after Pauline's remarks left newcomer Catrin in tears.
Pauline, who is facing her third eviction, had made comments to Catrin about facing eviction. "Is this place empty? Is it just us? What the f*** was that? Like don't start on me, you literally just got here," Pauline stated, later adding, "I don't even owe you a hello at this point. 'Pauline, give me attention. It's about me.' It's not about you, babe, you just got here. Like, you ain't gonna get your moment girl."
Unbeknownst to Pauline, Catrin overheard these comments while in the bathroom, leading to her becoming visibly upset and crying in the bedroom.
Rochelle, seeing Catrin distressed, confronted Pauline. "I hope you're f*****g pleased with yourself," Rochelle reportedly said, igniting a fierce argument.
During the altercation, Pauline was seen pointing her finger in Rochelle's face and was restrained by housemate Harry. "Pick on someone your own size," Rochelle told Pauline.
The dispute led to Pauline being summoned to the Diary Room. Big Brother deemed it inappropriate for her to stay in the bedroom that night and offered her an alternative space.
This conflict comes as Pauline and Rob received the most votes in face-to-face nominations, marking Pauline's third time up for eviction.
Viewers on social media platform X shared mixed reactions to the events. Some viewers found the argument compelling, with one user calling the outcome "absolute cinema." Others criticized Pauline's behavior towards Catrin and her subsequent argument with Rochelle. Conversely, some defended Pauline, suggesting she was provoked, while others questioned Rochelle's intervention.
Pauline and Rob are scheduled to face the public vote on Friday. The fallout from the house clash is expected to be shown in Wednesday's episode.
Big Brother airs tonight at 9 p.m. on ITV2 and ITVX.
