Betr Offers $200 Bonus for NHL Bets Using Promo Code FOXNEWS

Betr is offering a promotional bonus of $200 for new users who sign up and place bets on NHL games, utilizing the promo code FOXNEWS. This offer comes as the NHL season has begun, with October typically being a busy month for sports.

A featured matchup highlighted by the promotion is between the New York Rangers and the Detroit Red Wings. The game is scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2026, at 6:30 PM ET, and will be played at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. It will be broadcast on TNT and TruTv.

The Rangers are playing on back-to-back nights, which can present a challenge early in the season. However, the team possesses sufficient depth and talent across its lines to remain competitive. Backup goalie Joonas Korpisalo is expected to start for the Rangers, having posted a 14-9-6 record with a 3.15 goals-against average last season.

Conversely, the Detroit Red Wings will have the advantage of rest and home ice. The Red Wings aim to capitalize on opponent mistakes and transition play up the ice, with Dylan Larkin, Lucas Raymond, and Alex DeBrincat expected to be key offensive players. John Gibson is likely to be in net for Detroit, having finished last year with a 29-22-4 record, a 2.72 goals-against average, four shutouts, and a .901 save percentage.

New users can claim the $200 bonus by downloading the Betr app, creating an account, and completing verification. After verification, two 'No Sweat Entries' will be added. A first deposit will activate Betr Bucks up to $200 when using the code FOXNEWS. These Betr Bucks can be used for pick'em-style contests within the Betr Picks lobby. Winnings from these entries are eligible for withdrawal upon meeting all requirements.

Betting odds for the game indicate the Red Wings are favored at -142 on the moneyline, with the Rangers at +120. The over/under for total goals is set at 5.5, with the over at -135 and the under at +114. The puck line shows the Rangers at +1.5 (-218) and the Red Wings at -1.5 (+180).
