This week's NFL schedule includes several notable matchups. On Thursday, October 15, the Seattle Seahawks lost to the Denver Broncos 17-14 in overtime. Sunday, October 18, features a full slate of games, including the Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars in London at 9:30 a.m. ET, and the Carolina Panthers facing the Philadelphia Eagles at 1:00 p.m. ET. Carolina has an alternating win-loss record this season, with recent wins over the Lions and Bears, and losses to the Browns and Falcons. The Eagles, meanwhile, have lost three consecutive games, including a close defeat to the Jaguars in London following an improbable sequence of events with a late field goal and kickoff return.
Quarterback statistics for the upcoming Panthers vs. Eagles game show Bryce Young of the Panthers with 101 completions on 162 attempts for 1,268 yards, 9 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. Jalen Hurts of the Eagles has recorded 89 completions on 154 attempts for 933 yards, 8 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions.
Sunday's schedule also includes the Chicago Bears at Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints at New York Giants, New York Jets at New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills at Las Vegas Raiders, and the Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers. The week concludes with Monday Night Football on October 19, featuring the Washington Commanders at San Francisco 49ers. The Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, and Minnesota Vikings are on bye this week.
