Bethenny Frankel Slams Andy Cohen as 'Bitter' Over 'Real Housewives' Comments
The 'RHONY' alum responded to Cohen's remarks about her potential return to the franchise via a TikTok video.
Bethenny Frankel has publicly criticized Andy Cohen, accusing the Bravo executive of being "bitter" and suggesting he has lost his original "Housewives" to other shows. Frankel, a former star of "The Real Housewives of New York City," made these remarks in a TikTok video posted Saturday, responding to comments Cohen made at a panel discussion.
During the panel, Cohen was reportedly asked if Frankel would ever return to "The Real Housewives." He responded, "I’m not really active on TikTok." Frankel interpreted this as a dismissive swipe and took to her own TikTok to address it.
"Well, Andy Cohen took a swipe at me on a panel, so let’s take the bait," Frankel stated in her video. She added, "Which is abundantly clear, because he’s still sitting in the same place I left him." Frankel, 55, implied that the only thing that has changed for Cohen, 58, on Bravo is the show's ratings, and that he is resentful that original cast members, including Luann de Lesseps, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, and Dorinda Medley, have moved on to other reality series.
"He’s living the stainless steel life on Bravo, where he’s their bitch, he waits for them to pay their paycheck, while we are all over here making our own coin, on our own way, on our own terms," Frankel asserted. She concluded her message with, "If you’re gonna take a shot at this b, you better not miss."
Cohen, who hosts "Watch What Happens Live," made the comments at Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston, South Carolina. A representative for Cohen did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Frankel starred on "RHONY" for multiple seasons, appearing from Season 1 to Season 3 (2008-2010) and returning for Seasons 7 through 11 (2015-2019). The public exchange between Frankel and Cohen is the latest chapter in a long-standing feud between the two.
In 2022, Cohen accused Frankel of "trashing" the "Real Housewives" franchise on "Watch What Happens Live." Frankel has also been vocal about her compensation from the show, alleging in January 2026 that she received only $7,250 for her first season and has not received residuals since.
Cohen previously described Frankel's criticisms as a "sustained attack" and later called her TikTok videos "suffocating."
