Benson Boone kicked off New York Fashion Week with an electrifying performance at the Palladium, a 2,100-capacity venue near Times Square. The Sept. 10 concert marked the conclusion of the U.S. portion of his "Wanted Man Tour" and showcased the theatricality that has become his signature.

Despite the venue's smaller scale compared to the arenas he has played recently, Boone did not shy away from his characteristic aerial stunts. He emerged onstage and launched into his opening song, "Mr. Electric Blue," with a backflip off a piano, silencing any doubts about whether the performance would match the spectacle of his larger shows.

Throughout the nearly 20-song set, Boone demonstrated his acrobatic abilities multiple times. The performance featured tracks from his albums "Fireworks & Rollerblades" (2024) and "American Heart" (2025). He encouraged audience singalongs for hits like "Mystical Magical," which samples Olivia Newton-John's "Physical." Boone also showcased his vocal range and musicality on ballads such as "Take Me Home" and "In The Stars," the latter of which he dedicated to his late great-grandmother.

At 24, Boone has achieved significant success since his breakout hit "Beautiful Things" propelled him to global fame, earning him a 2025 Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. He expressed a desire for intimate performances, telling AM New York that he needed nights like these to "actually feel and observe everyone’s energy again" and stay connected to his early career.

Boone gave a rare performance of his 2021 debut single, “Ghost Town,” which has been missing from many of his recent concerts.

During the show, Boone engaged with the audience, fulfilling a request for an impromptu rendition of his viral 2021 debut single, "Ghost Town." The night concluded with "Beautiful Things," after which Boone made a surprise appearance wearing a Spider-Man mask before exiting the stage.

The concert was part of Wells Fargo's Autograph Card Exclusives series. Boone is scheduled to resume his Wanted Man Tour in Seoul, South Korea, in October, with no further U.S. dates planned through the end of 2026.
