Ben Azar Settles Unfair Dismissal Case Against Savills

Indy Clinton's husband, Ben Azar, has reached a settlement with his employer of over 22 years, Savills, after taking the global real estate firm to court over claims of unfair dismissal. The resolution followed a mediation session last week.

Azar, formerly the national head of cross-border investments, initiated legal proceedings in late March. Court documents filed on March 27 stated Azar alleged Savills breached workplace protections by terminating his employment. He pursued action under general protections provisions, which apply when an employee claims adverse action was taken for prohibited reasons.

Details of the settlement have not been publicly disclosed, and both Azar and Savills have declined to comment.

The legal dispute previously garnered media attention in June when Clinton accompanied Azar to the Federal Court in Sydney for a mediation session. At the time, Clinton, an influencer, wore a red t-shirt with a provocative phrase, while Azar wore a navy blazer, white shirt, and jeans.

The case marks a challenging period for the couple, who have documented their family life online. Earlier this year, Clinton shared an emotional video discussing her anxiety about one of their children starting school, expressing feelings of being overwhelmed by the prospect of navigating the school system and admitting to not knowing basic terms or times tables.

Ben and Indy Azar have three children: Navy, four; Bambi, two; and Soul, one. They began their relationship in 2018 and married two years later.
