Ben Affleck revealed that his children frequently mock his romantic past, recounting instances during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Thursday. The actor, who has been divorced twice, shared that his children, Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 14, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, often offer pointed commentary on his dating history.

Affleck described attempts to discuss his "lived experience" with his children, only to be met with sharp retorts. He recalled a specific moment when his 17-year-old daughter responded to his reflections on a past relationship by asking, "Oh, like you’re the expert on relationships?"

Further illustrating the dynamic, Affleck recounted a trip to a bookstore where he encountered a book titled "I’m Sorry for Everything." He said his child deadpanned, "Oh, look, Dad, it’s your autobiography." The actor admitted he was "proud" of his children's comedic timing and their ability to tease him.

Affleck's public relationships have included marriages to Garner, from 2005 to 2018, and Jennifer Lopez, whom he married in 2022 and separated from within two years. His past relationships have also been with actresses Gwyneth Paltrow and Ana de Armas. The actor has not publicly shared details about a new romance since his most recent divorce.
