Ben Affleck recently disclosed his significant McDonald's consumption, stating, "I eat a lot of McDonald’s — like a lot. All the time." The candid confession came during his appearance as a contestant on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, where he teamed up with "Jeopardy!" champion Jamie Ding.
The duo aimed to win $1 million for Affleck's charity, the Eastern Congo Initiative. During the game, Kimmel posed a question about a McDonald's sandwich served with half a slice of cheese, prompting Affleck's admission about his fast-food habits. Despite his frequent patronage of the chain, Affleck was unsure of the answer and opted to poll the audience with Ding. The correct answer, Filet-O-Fish, helped the pair secure $32,000.
This revelation follows years of viral photos and public sightings of Affleck at fast-food drive-thrus, particularly McDonald's. Three and a half years prior to his game show appearance, images circulated widely of Affleck eating fries at a Los Angeles drive-thru. In January 2023, he was photographed with his child, Fin, at a McDonald's drive-thru. Affleck has also been seen patronizing other fast-food establishments, including Jack-in-the-Box, where he was once photographed eating a burger while his car was illegally parked. He also has a history with Dunkin' Donuts, having appeared in advertising campaigns for the brand.
Affleck and Ding are scheduled to return for the next episode of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" to attempt the final questions for the $1 million prize. The episode is set to air on ABC.
