Actor Ben Affleck was recently spotted driving a new Cadillac Celestiq, a luxury electric supercar with a price tag potentially exceeding $400,000. The sighting occurred Tuesday evening as Affleck exited Baltaire Restaurant in Los Angeles, accompanied by B5 Studios CEO Sean Bailey.
The Cadillac Celestiq is a bespoke, commission-only vehicle with a base price starting at $340,000. Customizations such as unique paint finishes, 3D-printed metal trims, and other personalized features can drive the final cost well over the initial estimate. Production of the Celestiq is limited, with only one to two vehicles being hand-built per day, and customer deliveries are slated to begin in June 2025.
Inside, the Celestiq features a 55-inch dashboard screen, and its panoramic roof is divided into four zones, allowing each occupant to adjust their individual level of roof transparency. The vehicle is fully electric.
This move into the ultra-luxury EV market by Cadillac aligns with the strategies of other high-end automotive brands. Rolls-Royce released its first electric vehicle, the Spectre, in 2023, and Bentley has announced upcoming electric car models. Ferrari also recently unveiled its first EV.
Affleck has a history of driving notable vehicles. Last year, he was seen in a 1969 Cadillac DeVille that he had converted to electric power. He also owns a Bentley Mulsanne Speed, valued at $316,000.
