Reality television personality Nathan Gallagher, known for his role on "Below Deck Mediterranean," is subject to an arrest warrant in Australia following his conviction for assaulting his ex-girlfriend and co-star, Gael Cameron.
Burwood Local Court ordered police to arrest Gallagher, 27, and bring him to court after he was convicted of assault causing actual bodily harm, choking, and common assault. Gallagher did not attend the Tuesday hearing, according to reports.
The alleged assault occurred in December 2025 at the couple's family home in Australia. Court documents state Gallagher "suffocated and choked" Cameron, 30, using one hand to cover her mouth and nose. Cameron reportedly attempted to pull away, but Gallagher persisted, preventing her from breathing at times. Documents further allege that after Cameron elbowed Gallagher, he placed both hands around her neck, applying pressure that made her unable to breathe, and then struck her on the left side of her jaw with an open palm, causing pain and swelling.
Gallagher has reportedly denied choking Cameron or covering her mouth. Despite his denial, Judge Janine Lacy found the offenses proven and issued the arrest warrant.
Immigration records indicate Gallagher is currently overseas, and prosecutors believe he is offshore. Cameron attended the hearing but declined to comment to reporters.
Gallagher previously broke his silence on the domestic violence arrest, stating in a statement to Rolling Stone that he had "made mistakes" and would "take responsibility for my own actions." He added that he would "not accept being portrayed solely through one person’s account of a relationship when there is another side and evidence relating to it." Gallagher claimed he possesses evidence, including video footage and messages, that he believes provide important context. He also mentioned other undisclosed matters surrounding their relationship and its breakdown.
Gallagher and Cameron met in 2024 while filming Season 9 of "Below Deck Mediterranean." They share a 1-year-old son, Kayden. Gallagher is not expected to appear on the next season of the show, though his scenes will continue to air in the current Season 11.
