Alli Dore, a former cast member of Bravo's "Below Deck Sailing Yacht," has shared the results of a "rib recontouring" procedure she underwent in Bali, aiming for a more cinched waist. Dore, 38, posted before-and-after images on Instagram approximately five and a half weeks into her 12-week recovery period.

The procedure, described as a "waist cinching" process, involves a minimally invasive ultrasound-guided softening of the waist area followed by consistent corset wear. Dore stated the surgery was performed by the team at Snatched Waist and that she partnered with them for the experience.

"After having a baby I had rib flare and I’ve always wanted to an hourglass waist so I was excited for this procedure," Dore wrote on Instagram. She indicated that the surgery itself took 45 minutes and that she stayed in a five-star hotel for recovery.

Some social media users expressed concern over the procedure, with one commenting, "I’m so sorry u felt u needed to do this to yourself, I admired u from the first time I saw u on BD but this looks painful and so unnecessary for such a beautiful woman." Another noted, "I appreciate this is everyone’s choice but like any surgical procedure risk should be acknowledged. Especially when advertising to young women."

Snatched Waist describes the "rib recontouring" as a process that includes liposuction of the waist, fracturing and reshaping the lower ribs using ultrasound, and then using a corset to maintain the new position during recovery. The total cost for the procedure is listed as $14,870.

Dore was a cast member on "Below Deck Sailing Yacht" Season 2 in 2021. She gave birth to her son, River George Thompson, in August 2021.
