Bella Hadid marked her 30th birthday on October 9 with a weekend celebration in the countryside with loved ones. The supermodel documented the occasion on social media, sharing photos of her getaway.

After arriving via private jet from Los Angeles with friends, Hadid shared a series of images from the retreat. In one set of photos, she is seen by a lake wearing a striped cotton dress and cowboy boots. She later removed the dress to reveal a small red bikini printed with her new age.

She accessorized her birthday attire with gold necklaces and beaded bracelets, captioning a carousel of images: "Hi my name is bella and I’m 30."

The weekend festivities included pottery making, wine, cake, and dinners. Hadid also took the opportunity to reflect on her career and her evolving perspective on success as she enters her thirties. She stated that she is intentionally slowing down.

"Success means something completely different to me now than it did a few years ago. I used to think it was about always working, always saying yes, always chasing the next thing," Hadid told ELLE. "Now it feels a lot more simple. It's having the space to wake up and actually enjoy my life, take care of myself, spend time with the people I love, and feel present in the moments that matter."

Hadid, who has publicly shared her long-term battle with Lyme disease, also spoke about her health and its impact on her career. She noted that she has experienced periods of intense medical anxiety and has had to decline work opportunities due to her condition.

"The more I listen to myself and live in a way that feels honest, the more grounded and confident I become," Hadid stated. "As I've got older, I've realized how important it is to create space for myself. Whether that's slowing down, moving my body, or just taking a moment to reconnect, those little rituals have become such a big part of how I take care of myself."

She added that she has learned to separate her personal value from her professional achievements. "I struggled a lot with this and talked about it a lot in therapy. My successes and the things I do in my work don't equate to who I am as a person, how loved I am, or how good I am."

Hadid, whose mother Yolanda and brother Anwar also have Lyme disease, previously shared in an interview with Vogue Italia that turning down jobs due to her health struggles made her feel "disposable." She has since focused on self-care and prioritizing her well-being.
