The Beckham family has welcomed a new addition to their household with the arrival of a golden Labrador retriever named Sandy Jean Beckham. This news comes as the family navigates a period of tension with eldest son Brooklyn Beckham, who was notably absent from his mother Victoria Beckham's recent Paris Fashion Week show.
Cruz Beckham, 21, shared the news of the new puppy on Instagram with his girlfriend Jackie Apostel. The musician posted photos of himself and Apostel with their new canine companion, who was quickly embraced by the family. Victoria Beckham commented on the post, expressing her affection for the puppy, and Jackie Apostel shared her own sweet moments with Sandy.
The introduction of Sandy appears to offer a welcome distraction amid growing distance between Brooklyn and the rest of his family. The entire Beckham family, except for Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz, gathered in Paris to support Victoria during her Fashion Week presentation.
Brooklyn and Nicola, however, attended separate events in Paris, including the Balenciaga and MESSIKA presentations. This scheduling conflict has led to speculation that the couple may be intentionally creating distance or even provoking a reaction from the family. A source suggested to the Daily Mail that there might be an element of "trolling" involved, noting that Brooklyn and Nicola's movements in Paris were documented by their preferred paparazzi agency.
Following the fashion show, Victoria Beckham alluded to Brooklyn's absence in an Instagram post, expressing gratitude for the support of her "friends and family." David Beckham also shared a post praising his wife's achievements, stating how lucky they felt to be part of her "beautiful night."
