Bec Judd Embraces New Hobby: Professional Olive Oil Taster
The Australian personality shared her recent culinary exploration, detailing her newfound expertise in discerning the nuances of olive oil.
Rebecca Judd has declared herself a "professional olive oil taster" after participating in a tasting event that involved drinking shots of the oil. The 43-year-old WAG documented her experience on Instagram, where she sampled various olive oils from Cobram Estate.
Judd's tasting included oils described as 'robust,' 'classic,' and 'light,' alongside a sample labeled 'bad oil' for comparative purposes. She shared a video of herself sipping the oil directly from a glass, asserting that she has become adept at identifying quality options.
"Professional olive oil taster. Adding that to the CV," Judd captioned her post, describing the experience as a "delicious lunch." She highlighted the health benefits, noting, "All packed with healthy fats and natural antioxidants. Who knew being healthy could taste this good?"
The post generated questions from her followers, including one who inquired about the appropriate quantity of oil for such a tasting. Another expressed support, commenting, "Olive oil is my go-to for cooking and baking. Pack in those antioxidants!"
In previous discussions about her diet, Judd described her eating habits as generally relaxed but emphasized the importance of a healthy dinner. Her typical day of eating includes muesli and a latte for breakfast, followed by sushi or focaccia for lunch. Dinners usually consist of meat or fish with vegetables, a meal she shares with her husband, former AFL star Chris Judd.
Judd has also been open about her sweet tooth, admitting to indulging in dessert nightly and often baking items like banana cake or chocolate cupcakes. To maintain her fitness, she has cited playing tennis as a primary form of exercise, describing it as an engaging and time-efficient cardio workout. She also practices Pilates, having previously shared her positive experience after a challenging class.
Judd has attributed some of her physique to genetics, mentioning her mother as a source of her body shape, a trait she shares with her sister. In addition to her media work, Judd co-founded the activewear label Jaggad.
