Beau Ryan Interrupts Radio Host's Interview, Causes Confusion

Beau Ryan unexpectedly joined and derailed an interview with Luisa Dal Din and Jack Archdale at the Seven Upfronts event on Thursday, struggling to articulate the details of Dal Din's new national drive radio slot. Dal Din and Archdale were announcing their upcoming show on the Hit Network, which is set to replace Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little in 2027.

During the interview with the Daily Mail, Ryan, 41, interrupted to offer his congratulations to Dal Din. His attempts to explain her transition from Triple M to the new role quickly became muddled, leading him to question the current naming conventions of the networks. "No, no, but I meant not leaving SCA, not leaving... What are we called now?" Ryan asked, to which Dal Din responded, "We're One Floor Up, mate."

Despite the confusion surrounding network names, Ryan expressed his pride in Dal Din's career advancement. The exchange also included lighthearted banter about their social habits and a negotiation for concert tickets. Ryan claimed they "never hang out," while Dal Din countered that they "always hang out," recalling a concert outing.

Ryan's presence disrupted the segment, prompting Dal Din to jokingly call for someone to escort him away. He offered unsolicited advice regarding the pressures of taking over a high-profile radio slot, predicting an initial period of criticism followed by eventual acceptance, referencing his own past experiences. Dal Din acknowledged the significance of succeeding established duos like Bickmore and Little, and Hamish and Andy.

Near the end of the chaotic interaction, Ryan appeared to inadvertently reveal Bickmore's and Little's next career moves. "She's doing The Carrie Show, and Tommy's going to 2DayFM," he stated, information that Dal Din confirmed by saying, "You heard it here first."
